Why We Exist: Nurturing Begins with the Parent
After experiencing the joy, confusion and struggles of parenting, pta planet co-creator Jianjia came to realize — the starting point of parenting is the parent's own nourishment. Only when parents live abundantly can children find their direction.
Real parenting is not about "pruning the child", but about "seeing ourselves first". Behind a child's struggles often lie a parent's unseen emotions and parenting biases. When parents learn to care for themselves and live with ease and strength, they become living water in which children are naturally nourished and grow freely.
"This was my aspiration at 40 — to use my expertise and experience in parenting to support more people in becoming better versions of themselves, better parents, raising healthy children full of vitality. At pta parents, we learn together and practice together, slowly turning understanding into action. It is not about who teaches whom — we find direction and grow together."
— Jianjia (Zheng Zhiyan), Community Steward

Three Growth Goals
Bringing parenting back to joy and growth
See Yourself, Live with Inner Abundance
When we begin to understand ourselves, we can understand our children more gently. Many parenting struggles are rooted in ourselves.
- Satir Iceberg Model: see the real needs behind emotions
- Communication optimization: from reacting to responding
- Mindfulness meditation: settle the mind, ease anxiety
Easier, More Effective Parenting
Practical, actionable techniques — not just ideas, but exactly how to do it.
- The "psychological nutrition" approach: create security, reduce emotional battles
- Emotional guidance: how to respond with strength when a child melts down
- Parent-child communication: how to speak so children will listen
Systematic Support, Lasting Growth
Change does not come from a burst of enthusiasm — it needs a sustained support system.
- Weekly online sessions · micro-classes (flash discussions)
- Book exchanges · case sharing · challenge workshops
- One deep-dive exploration per person (OH cards or Satir practice)
- Daily growth journaling · mindfulness experiences · dedicated community
